Hi! My name is Lori McDonald and I am the creative force behind Beloved Keepsakes. My journey began many, many years ago after marrying my husband Andrew. On our first wedding anniversary Andrew came home and said that he would be deploying to Iraq in a few weeks. I wanted to have something that I could carry with me that would be a daily reminder of him while he was gone. Thus the first photo bracelet was created. After wearing the bracelet to work everyday for nearly nine months, coworkers
started asking me if I could make them one as well and thus Beloved Keepsakes began.
In 2004, Andrew was to be deployed again. My mother suggested making a yellow ribbon lapel pin with Andrew’s photo attached so that friends and family could wear it in his honor while he was gone. Hence, the photo ribbon pin was born. In 2007 I became a designer designing electronic scrapbooking elements that can be cut with a personal cutting machine like the KNK,
Wishblade and Pazzels machine. This truly started me down the path of owning my own business!
Fast forward to 2012, I started up the “Honoring Your Hero” line of products which consist of
purses, military pride tiles and the photo stars!
In May of 2013, I became an independent consultant for Nomades. Which is a company that
specializes in military and patriotic jewelry.
When I am not busily working on Beloved Keepsakes items, I can usually be found in my
scrapbooking room where I spend hours preserving the memories of our family.
I am an extremely proud military wife, very active in my church, and I love to read and kayak!
Well, there you have it… just a little about me.
I hope you enjoy browsing around our boutique and please remember to pray for our troops
both here and abroad!
God Bless ~
